The Crum app keeps your starter's data on your phone, with one exception: when you ask a question in chat, the starter details needed to answer it — its name, program, feeding history, and current state — go with the message to Anthropic, whose Claude model writes the reply. Nothing from chat is stored beyond a basic rate limit. There is no account.
